Last week, we received a surprise package which caused a fair bit of excitement in the office.

Inside the package was this.

That’s a proper chocolate cake topped with proper strawberries!

The cake was a thank you gift from the very lovely Akanksha Banerji at The Oberoi, Gurgaon who recently won the Marketing person of the Year award. Which might also have something to do with The Oberoi, Gurgaon winning the World’s Leading Luxury Hotel award earlier in the month.

Which might also (ahem) have something to do with us working for Oberoi. And now back to working towards the next strawberry cake.

We used to have a small red horse.

Then we got a big red horse.

And now we have a huge white horse. And a rider too! His name is “Hangover Man,” an artwork by artist Siddartha Kararwal and is a gift from Bhavna Kakar of Latitude 28.

All the more reason for us to keep having fun by making the coolest airline’s cool packaging! In fact, some new packaging is in progress, stay tuned.

In case you are reading this from the rest of the world, there is a thing in India called “Wedding Season.” Wedding season is right now, and while all of us have been very busy attending wedding parties, our lovely Rashi has been busy with her own wedding!

And if you think that Indian weddings are like in the movies, well, you may be right.

Of course, we had our little office party with Rashi before the wedding, and we celebrated the bride-to-be with a bonfire, pakoras, chai, and music.

The wedding was a lot of fun and dancing, and we all forgot to take proper pictures. Luckily, we have at least this one:

And this, to give you all an idea of how beautiful Rashi looked on that night. Congratulations!

The Indian Art Fair is over, but there’s still a lot of interesting art to catch in town.

For instance, you want to give yourself a bit of time to explore and interact with Layout, an on-site collaborative construction by Sayantan Maitra Boka, Susanta Mandal, M. Pravat and Navid Tschopp promoted by W+K Exp (aka us!) and Pro Helvetia. Built inside M. Pravat’s studio, Layout explores the ideas of building, architecture, and space.

The installation is up until the end of the week (and perhaps a little longer) in Neb Sarai, just before the IGNOU campus. Don’t miss out.
