IndiGo is now flying international, and what a better way to announce it to the world than with a Runway Musical?
Here are the lyrics, sing along (if you are fast enough)!
We’re here to be the model of a modern global airline
An ambitious mission we remind ourselves of all the time
Flying more than ever with a flock of new planes in our fleet
You’ll be greeted once you’re seated by many captains just like me
Called the ground force for a reason, we’re machine-like in the way we work
Queueless check in, engineering, traffic handling, baggage clerks
Passengers with preferences, their fragile items itemised
(They’re an operations army that keeps every aspect synchronised)
On your journey there up in the air, we’ll handle every hassle
Great with kids and seniors too, tourists, and multinationals
Our service is so popular, we’re flying international
Our service is so popular, we’re flying international
We’ll remind ourselves now one more time with each and every single flight
We’re here to be the model of a modern global airline
and every time we fly we will ensure that you will land on time
Six months ago we toured a building site in Gurgaon and we liked it, a lot. Last month that site eventually opened as The Oberoi, Gurgaon. 36,000 sq ft of water, two acres of forest and a lot of height, light and space. We liked that a lot too.
Of course we were on hand to help with the opening, creating a launch campaign around the idea of “Height, Light and Space”. Here’s the print ad, which ran on press front pages on opening day.
The ad itself picked up a few compliments…
… and “Height, Light and Space” became the word of the hour.
Mumbai’s Sakshi gallery even created a bespoke art exhibition on the same theme (yes Height, Light and Space, again), hosted in the hotel’s banquet space and attended by Delhi and Gurgaon’s finest. Including us, natch. Word is one of W+K’s finest may have even picked up a piece.
Watch out for more work from us on this stunning hotel. Or go visit it yourself, you’ll like it.
Motherland’s fourth edition, the “Northeast” issue is now out. For this issue, Motherland went to India’s Northeast, and here’s a taste of what we found: young Naga entrepreneurs, an Imphal-based vigilante organisation, artists and writers recreating the region’s unique folktales, fashion trends and much more.
Grab your copy now, and find out in which exciting ways the subcultures of the Northeast are making their mark.
If you’re a visitor to India or simply an Indian looking for an experience which is not an ayurveda back rub or a visit to the Taj Mahal, you’ve come to the right place. The India Tube is a W+K inititative that attempts to show people the cooler side of India.
Part magazine, part community, part media gallery, it is a web portal about everything that’s incredible about India.
We add new stories and images everyday, talking only about what we find interesting and we would share with our friends. No snake charmers. No elephants. No postcard experiences. Just what we like.
Today we’re happy to announce the international launch of Google Suggest. We’ve localized our suggestions to account for various cultural and local factors to offer suggestions that look familiar to our users. For example, English users in different countries will get suggestions that feel natural:
A lot of exciting things are happening. Two of them would be Bill Davenport (President, W+K Entertainment & Partner, W+K) and Kirk Iverson (expert on all things Hollywood). They were with us for just 36 hours. But it was enough to get all of us, including Campaign India, excited about WK Radio.
This week on WK Radio, we have DJ lovebirds Anjali and The Incredible Kid sharing their music and stories from their music-amassing sabbatical in India; interview with Mercer Street recording artist, ASA; Tokyo Lab; Caldera; a mix of eclectic DJs and much more.
